______________

These single-cup pods are made from the same Bali Blue as our whole bean and ground selections. This coffee, from the Kintamani Highlands of central Bali, Indonesia - is known as Bali Blue - offers a beautifully balanced cup that reflects both its volcanic terroir and traditional cultivation methods. Grown at elevations of 1,200–1,600 meters in rich volcanic soil near Mount Batur, this coffee benefits from cool mountain air and careful smallholder farming practices.

At a medium-dark roast, Bali Blue develops a deep, rounded sweetness while maintaining a gentle brightness unique to the region. The cup opens with notes of dark chocolate and baker’s cocoa, layered with caramelized sugar and toasted almond. As it unfolds, subtle hints of vanilla, warm spice, and cedar emerge, complemented by a mild citrus undertone that keeps the profile lively without sharp acidity.

The body is smooth and velvety—medium to full—with a creamy mouthfeel that lingers comfortably on the palate. Low acidity and a clean, balanced finish make it exceptionally approachable, while its nuanced complexity keeps it interesting from first sip to last.

Bali Blue is often grown under shade and processed using traditional Indonesian methods, contributing to its rich texture and earthy-sweet character. In a medium-dark roast, it performs beautifully as both a drip coffee and espresso, offering depth without bitterness.

Comforting yet refined, Bali Blue from Kintamani is a harmonious expression of island-grown coffee—sweet, smooth, and quietly complex.
